Rockstar showed GTA 6 running on a PS5, and it opened on Netflix
Two details matter more than the footage itself. It is in-game rather than pre-rendered, and Rockstar gave a streaming service the premiere ahead of its own channel.

What gets published here, and what does not
A story only appears on this page if it clears three tests. It has to be a verifiable fact with the primary source linked, whether that is Rockstar, Take-Two, a platform holder or a named reporter doing original work. It has to add something the other four hundred write-ups do not have, which usually means the history, the aggregate number or the comparison. And it must not duplicate a page we already keep up to date.
That last rule is the one that keeps this feed short. When something changes about the release date, the right move is to update the release date page, not to publish a story that competes with it. A news item only gets written when it has an angle the tracked page cannot carry, and when it does, it links back to that page.
Why the feed is deliberately slow
Most sites covering this game publish several times a day, because volume is the strategy. It works until an algorithm update decides the site is thin, and then it stops working all at once.
We would rather have a day with nothing on it than a day with filler. Google measures the pattern of a whole site rather than a single piece, so one padded story does not cost you one story's worth of trust.
Rumors, and how they are labeled
Leaks and unconfirmed reports do get published, because pretending they do not exist is its own kind of dishonesty. They carry a Rumored label, they name whoever published them first, and they link to that person or outlet. A rumor never appears in a headline as though it were settled, and it never gets promoted to confirmed because it has been repeated a lot.
