The pages people open first
All newsEvery time GTA 6 has been delayed, and what Rockstar said
Two slips so far, both announced by Rockstar in writing. The full timeline from the first trailer onward, the exact wording each time, and what it says about this date holding.
Which consoles run GTA 6 at launch and which ones miss out
The launch platforms are PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S. No last-generation release, no handheld, and a PC version that still has no date attached to it.
The leakers with a record, and the ones who keep getting it wrong
A running scoreboard of who called each detail early, who was corrected by Rockstar, and how much weight any given account deserves before you repeat it.
Where pre-orders open, and what to check before you place one
Pre-orders are already open on the official site. Which editions exist, what the bonus actually includes, and the cancellation terms worth reading while the date can still move.
When GTA 6 comes out
The date is November 19, 2026, and it is the only launch detail Rockstar has committed to in public. It has moved twice, which is why the history of the delays is worth reading before you plan anything around it. If it moves again, the change lands on the release date page first.
Which machines will run it
At launch the game is a console release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S. There is no last-generation version and, so far, no PC version either — Rockstar has not announced a PC date. That gap is tracked in full on the PC page, alongside how long the wait ran for the previous game. The console side is broken down on the platforms page.
What it will cost
No edition pricing has been announced. Every figure circulating right now traces back to a retailer placeholder or an analyst note, not to Rockstar, so none of it appears here as a fact. When an edition and a number are announced, they go on the price page with the source attached.
How this site handles what is not confirmed
Every claim on JoyrideBay carries one of three labels. Confirmed means it came from Rockstar, Take-Two or a platform holder, and the link is on the page. Rumored means someone credible published it and we say who. Unknown means nobody has said, and we leave the hole visible instead of filling it with a guess. The full method is in the editorial policy, and the news feed follows the same rules.
Every page here is written and checked by one person, and the about page explains what this site covers and how it pays for itself. We are not the publisher of the game and have no relationship with them, which is set out in full in the trademark notice. If you find something wrong, send it over and the fix goes on the page, dated.
Some sections carry advertising and the buying guides carry affiliate links, both disclosed where they appear. What we collect while you read is in the privacy policy, and the trackers themselves are listed one by one in the cookie policy.
