Trademark notice
This site reports on somebody else's product. That is normal for a publication, but it is worth setting out plainly what our relationship to that company is, which is none.

The disclaimer, in full
JoyrideBay is an independent publication and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
That line appears in the footer of every page on this site. It is not there as decoration. It is there because a reader landing from a search result deserves to know within one screen whether they are reading the publisher or somebody writing about the publisher.
The names
Grand Theft Auto, GTA, Grand Theft Auto VI, Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive are trademarks of their respective owners. We use them descriptively, to identify the products and companies we write about, in headlines, page addresses, and body text. That is nominative use and it is what allows any publication to name the thing it covers.
What we never do is use those names as our own. They do not appear in our brand, our logo, our domain name, our favicon, or our social media handles. JoyrideBay is our name and it does not borrow from anybody.
The images
We publish two kinds of image and they are handled differently.
Our own illustrations are generated or drawn for this site. They are declared as such in the file’s metadata and in the caption underneath, and they are deliberately made so that they cannot be mistaken for material from the game.
Official material — screenshots, key art, frames from a trailer — is published editorially, to illustrate the article that discusses that specific material. Every one of them carries a visible credit naming the rights holder, with a link to where it was published. This is standard editorial practice and it is how coverage of any entertainment product works.
We do not present that material as ours, we do not offer it for download, and we do not use it anywhere in the identity of this site. Video is embedded from its original platform rather than copied onto our servers.
If you hold rights to an image on this site and want it removed or credited differently, write to us with the page address and we will act on it.
Design
The look of this site is our own. We have not copied the visual identity, typeface or trade dress of the games we cover, and no page here is arranged to suggest that it is an official property. If any part of this site ever makes you pause and wonder whether we are the publisher, that is a bug, and we want to hear about it.
